Ninesprings
Ninesprings Country Park, is situated within the town of Yeovil and offers 127 acres of natural parkland. There is lovely woodland, a lake, streams, flat open grass and a play area. Plenty of woodland trails - some are hilly and there are also gates. The open flat area is ideal for ball games, kites and picnics and there is a cycleway along the old railway network.

Ham Hill
Ham Hill is a geological Site of Special Scientific Interest, Scheduled Ancient Monument, Iron Age hill fort, Roman site, Local Nature Reserve and country park, to the west of Yeovil in Somerset, England. Ham Hill is a 10 to 15 minute drive.

Sherborne Castle
Sherborne Castle is just one stop away on the train (Yeovil Junction station is a ten minute walk) and hosts events throughout the year including 'Festival Behind the Castle' in June and 'Classics at the Castle' in July. Sherborne is also one of the most beautiful towns in England with its abundance of medieval buildings, Superb Abbey, picturesque Almshouse, as well as the two castles.

The Fleet Air Arm Museum - representing the Royal Navy In the Air. With four exhibition halls, over ninety aircraft and over 2 million records and 30 thousand artefacts the Museum is Europe's largest naval aviation Museum. In addition it houses the first British Concorde which you can go on board, view the cockpit and visit the award winning Aircraft Carrier Experience.

Perrys Cider Farm
Cider has been made on this site in Ilminster since the 1920's and is run by the Perry family. Visit the cider works and finish the day with lunch in the tea rooms and a look around the shop.
